Located in the heart of one of the most established residential communities in Singapore, the Toa Payoh Swimming Complex is adjacent to the Toa Payoh Sports Hall and just 15 minutes away from the Youth Olympic Village.

Toa Payoh Swimming Complex is expected to be used for diving competitions held during the Singapore Youth Olympic Games in 2010.

The Toa Payoh Swimming Complex comprises two areas: one which operates as a busy public swimming pool, while the other is used extensively for elite aquatics training, such as synchronised swimming, diving, as well as water polo.

For many years, the Toa Payoh Swimming Complex has played host to the annual National Schools Swimming Championships of Singapore. In March 2006, the complex also hosted the synchronised swimming event of the Asian Swimming Championships.

Toa Payoh Swimming Complex is served by the Toa Payoh MRT train station and a major public bus interchange that are situated just across the road from the facility. Extensive suburban shopping, leisure and entertainment amenities are located in Toa Payoh, which are very popular and frequented by Singaporeans living in Toa Payoh and the surrounding neighbourhoods.
